Scope

EquoVis International applies its EAM subject matter expertise in adapting SAP Enterprise Asset Management to derive real-time data value chain benefits. Primary objectives consist of providing effective decision support, operations management, and data entry mechanisms.

EVI specializes in the Plant Maintenance (PM) module and leverages complimentary functionality provided by the SAP Logistics application suite.

EquoVis has participated in several ERP project lifecycles, with direct involvement in each of the implementation phases, namely:

ERP Assessment & Planning:

  • Business Blue Printing: legacy process and system assessment
  • 'As-Is' process mapping and business structure
  • 'To-Be' process re-engineering and business structure
  • Gap Assessment

SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Functional:

  • Configuration: SAP Plant Maintenance module settings
  • Master Data: identification, definition, and structuring of data elements
  • Conversion: determination of data requirements, sourcing, field mapping, preparation (filtering, cleansing, and formatting), loading, and verification
  • Functional Design: development of application enhancements, from conceptual through to technical design
  • Testing: verification of development objects, business process simulation, and regression

SAP Implementation & Support:

  • Training: course design, material development, training client set-up, and end-user instruction (group and individual)
  • Deployment: implementation planning and execution
  • Stabilization: on-site coaching and on-site field support
  • Solution Maintenance & Support: knowledge transfer to level 1 & 2 support organization ; problem investigation and troubleshooting; on-going solution assistance
